Organic Farming Courses

Starting this October Camosun College is offering two courses on organic farming.The two courses are "Organic Farming As A Business" and "Organic Gardening - Increasing Your Yield". The first one is offered this fall and starts on October 18, the second is offered in the spring and starts on April 4, 2005. Read on for more details and registration information...

Organic School Food

The kids at Lincoln Elementary, in Olympia, Washington State, are trading their chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers for organic lettuce, pita pockets and blueberries, under a new policy passed by the Seattle School District banning junk food in the schools and encouraging organic food in school cafeterias.
