The myth of high food costs

Over and over I hear the refrains, "It's too expensive," "It's overpriced," "I can't afford it," when the subject of buying organic food surfaces.

Yet for most of us, whether we spend our money on organic food or not is a matter of priorities. At first glance organic food can seem expensive, but when all the short and long term externalized costs of the food system’s impact on the Earth are considered, it appears reasonable.

Appeal Court Reasons Supporting The Right To Sue The BC Egg Board Through A Class Action Launched By Organic Growers

On March 18, 2004 The Appeal Court of British Columbia hear an appeal of the Egg Board to try to stop Olera Farms and others from suing the Egg Board through a Class Action. Our right to proceed with the Class Action was upheld by the Appeal Court. I have attached the reasons for judgment. This legal wrangling is done to exhaust us financially and emotionally.
